Introduction

The annual Great Migration is a wonderful and exiting experience and is regarded as “The Greatest Show on Earth”. The herds of wildebeest, zebra and Thomsons gazelle generally move in a clockwise direction throughout the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem – a movement for which this safari has been designed to follow. Guests arrive for an affordable, yet luxurious adventure in the capital of Tanzania, Arusha. One night at Onsea House starts off the migration safari, after which guests set off for Maramboi Tented Camp on the border between Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. Two nights camping in style and a day trip in the Tarangire provide an exceptional start to the safari. Next is the Ngorongoro Crater, which is a recognised wildlife paradise and holds the densest population of lions in Africa. Ngorongoro Farm House is a functioning farm, accommodating guests in a warm and welcoming environment without sparing on the view, as it overlooks the Oldeani Volcano. After 2 nights here guests move onto the renowned predator prideland – the Serengeti National Park. Finishing up with 3 nights in this famous National Park will guarantee guests’ complete migration safari.
