Serengeti Safari Tours and Holidays  5 days you will visit some of the most exciting and iconic game parks in Tanzania. Visit Lake Manyara National Park. Here you can expect to see anything from thousands of flamingos, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, monkeys. Then onto Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness that offers unparalleled safari opportunities and of course the great wildebeest migration. Your final stop will be Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder, featuring one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

After the Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll be collected and transfer to the hotel/.

Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 2: Arusha-Lake Manyara National Park

Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Arusha Town then departure for a full day game drive at Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive, but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The parks’ varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions (rare), as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. Picnic lunch will be served the park, followed by an afternoon game drive then late afternoon departure for Karatu Village for diner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti 

After breakfast, head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park and head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.

Day 4: Serengeti Safari Tours Full Day Game Drive

This day will offer an ideal opportunity to do an optional but unforgettable hot air balloon flight, followed by a delightful champagne breakfast (available at a supplementary cost, and can be booked in advance). After breakfast, enjoy a full game drive in the Serengeti National Park. It is possible to arrange a full day game drive with a picnic lunch (must be arranged with the lodge in advance) or a morning and afternoon game drive, with lunch served at the lodge or camp. The Seronera area is also centrally located making it possible for game drives to the Lobo area, Western Corridor and southern Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the lodge, depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. On the way, stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for an afternoon game drive. The crater supports a vast variety of animals including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen at Lake Magadi,

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tloma Lodge. Or Similar

Day 6: from Karatu  to  Arusha Town

Enjoy breakfast, after which you will transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy lunch at a restaurant. You will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro airport, which ends our safari services.
