This trip itinerary will start from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro ,Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Zanzibar. Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International airport

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport you will be met by our company representative for a safari briefing and transferred to your hotel for overnight and briefing regarding your safari.

Day 2: Game Drive to Lake Naivasha

On the second day, you will travel through the bucolic countryside towards Lake Navaisha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge by the lake. In the early afternoon, you can take an optional boat ride or you may wish to simply relax by the pool admiring the view of zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks just outside the fence.

Alternatively, a nature walk at the Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Crescent Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbucks, and giraffes. Day 3: From Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara Game Reserve

During the third day, you will depart from Lake Naivasha and head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, a jewel of Kenya’s game parks. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains and is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is also a true home of the big five, lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and Cape buffaloes.

Day 4: From Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Day 5: Full Game drive in Serengqeti National Park:

We head towards the Serengeti National Park. En route there is an opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge. It is within this steep sided ravine that Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the world’s most important archaeological discoveries in the 1950s. Here in a small museum we are able to see evidence of our ancestors that have been dated back 2.5 million years. After lunch we drive into the Serengeti itself and the rest of the afternoon is spent game viewing in the vast plains that are broken only by stands of acacia trees and the occasional kopje. In December, January and February we will normally meet the migration with large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. There are always plenty of resident animals, such as giraffe, buffalo, and elephant, and many large predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Bush Camps  Full board.

Day 6: From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater:

Today we will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for your crater tour. Here you we will explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where we may see flamingos. We will also visit the open savannah where the lions hunt. Picnic lunch will be served in the crater We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive in Ngorongoro we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos. Dinner and overnight at Octagon Lodge Karatu or similar.

Day 7: Drive From ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake. We enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding llparadise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and tree-climbing lions. Day 8: Game Drive to Tarangire National Park

After the breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park which offers some excellent sights. Generally in the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. Day 9: Lake Eyasi Cultural Tourism

After  Earlybreakfast we will drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged.Dinner and overnight at Crown Hotel in Arusha or Similar .

Day 10: Departure day to Zanzibar

After breakfast at the hotel the client will stay at the lodge for few hours’ then late afternoon drive to Arusha Airport for the flight to Zanzibar. After arrive in  Zanzibar you will meet the guide at Airport  then transfer to PwaniMchangani,check in at  Karamba Resort  for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Explore Spice and Historical tours in Stone Town

Today the choice is yours between the spice tour and the stone town old city tour. Both activities take 2-3 hours so it is possible to do spice and historical tours in one single day.

After breakfast depart the hotel for a full day city Tour whereby the tour leads you through the historic old city, The tour starts from Zanzibar central market which was established in 1904 you will see a lot of  tropical fruits and various types of spices where one can even buy them if you have interest. There after the tour proceed to Anglican cathedral which built by bishop steers in 1874 right on the site of the former slave market, then visit National museums of Zanzibar commonly known as peace memorial museum, British consulate, Old fort or house of wonders then the tour go ahead to Dr Livingstone House before going to maruhubi palace ruins which were built by Sultan Bar gash in 1880.
