The tour starts and ends in Tanzania, the safari takes you to three of Tanzania’s national parks, these include; Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park. Serengeti national park is common for the annual Migration of the wildebeest, zebras and the Gazelle’s, you will also get chance to view many other animals. The Ngorongoro crater is famous for variety of wildlife species including the lions, zebras, impalas, antelopes, birds etc.  The same safari also takes you to Tarangire National Park which is one of the largest park in Tanzania and it’s located in the south west to Lake Manyara with it covering an area of 2850km. its land scape is covered by Baobab trees, high grasses as well as the dense bush. The park is also famous for elephants, waterbuck, wildebeests, giraffes, olive baboons as well as baobab tree climbing lions.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Leave Arusha town early enough, drive for about one hour towards Tarangire National Park, the park is referred to as a great home of elephants, here you have a chance to view elephants in large numbers gathering around Tarangire River. The other animals that can be spotted include; lions, leopards, giraffes as well as tree climbing lions.

Day 2
Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast in the morning and have a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park, this park is one of the largest national park in Tanzania and its known for its endless plains, herds of lions, wildebeest migrations and many other predators including the lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, antelopes and gazelles

Day 3
Explore Serengeti National Park

Wake up so early and be fortunate to glide in a hot air balloon which will help you view the Serengeti plains, you will be able to float silently above the bushes, while spotting the different wildlife as you enjoy the scenery of the best African National Park, local villages as well as rivers.

You will after breakfast, enjoy game viewing along the famous Sogore River Circuit which enters into the plains of seronera River, and it’s a good spot to view the lions, topis, Thomson Gazelle, ostrich as well as the cheetah. There is also the Visitor Centre is also worth a visit after the morning game drive. It’s nicely designed and offers interesting wildlife displays with a gift shop that sells maps of the area as well as the information leaflets. You can as well get cold drinks and snacks from the Centre. We shall after enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the Centre within the shades of the acacia trees.

Later, in the afternoon, we shall follow the Kopjes Circuit, that goes anti clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, this usually attracts many lions and large cobras, the Kopjes are known as weathered granite outcrops that are found around the plains and most of these are miniature ecosystems, providing shade as well as drinking water within the pools in the rocks after the heavy rains. This makes the kopjes good for spotting wildlife species including the lions which sit near the water waiting for animals coming to drink.

Day 4
Have a gave drive in Serengeti national park & transfer to Ngorongoro crater

Have breakfast and proceed for a morning game where you will view many animals including the zebras, lions, elephants, birds, antelopes and many more. Later in the afternoon, drive enroute to the rim of Ngorongoro crater where you will have your dinner and an overnight with the best excellent view of the crater floor.

Day 5
Explore Ngorongoro and departure to Arusha town

You will spend the whole day exploring Ngorongoro crater where you will view variety of animal species including the birds. There is also a big possibility of spotting the big five including the lions, buffalos, elephants, Rhinos, and the leopards. You will have lunch at any picnic site at the crater floor and in the afternoon, return to Arusha making the end of the safari.

Other Safari Important Notes

  1. ELECTRICITY
    All lodges and camps will have electricity although many work off generators with limited times.

The power supply in Tanzania is nominally 240VAC, 50hz. Variable voltage, spikes and sporadic, unexpected, unscheduled power cuts of varying duration can be expected.

  1. INTERNAL FLIGHTS/BAGGAGE
    Please note each passenger is only allowed a total of 15kgs of checked and carry-on luggage combined, and must be in small soft-sided bags. This is strictly enforced by airlines and outside of our control. extra luggage can be left in storage in Arusha (by arrangement prior to travel
  2. YELLOW FEVER
    It may be required to show a Yellow Fever certificate upon entering the country visited. Please check in with your local health expert for advice on Yellow Fever and other inoculations required for this area.
