The tour starts and ends in Tanzania in Arusha Town. The safari takes you to both Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti National Park takes you to Serengeti National park is found in the northwestern Tanzania, it’s famous for the annual migration of over 250000 zebras, crocodiles, honey badger and over 1.5 million white bearded wildebeest. This park also harbors many other animal species including; the hyenas, baboon, wild dogs, topis, buffalos, black Rhinos, birds etc. the tour also takes you to Ngorongoro crater which is a conservation Area and UNESCO World Heritage site, its located 180 km from Arusha and it has the Ngorongoro crater as its main tourist attraction. The park is famous for the black rhinos, hippos, cape buffalos, common Eland, Blue wildebeest, water buck, topis, crocodiles, Impalas, and the African leopards.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Transfer to Ngorongoro National Park

Have breakfast and after start your drive to Ngorongoro, immediately after your arrival, have lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game drive to the crater for a game drive. This national park is a world heritage site which is located in Ngorongoro district and it has the largest intact volcanic caldera which lies within the conservation area. The park was formally part of serengeti. It’s also home to over 25000 large animals, 500 bird species that live within the montane forest, bush land, grassland, open grass, Munge stream, woodland as well as the Lerai stream. Immediately after the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Full day game viewing in Ngorongoro crater

Have breakfast and after proceed for a full day game viewing ,you will have chance to view many animal species including; lions, cheetah, black rhinoceros, hippos, wildebeest, leopards, Grants and Thompson’s gazelles, elephants, hyena, jackals, warthogs, waterbuck, buffalos and the mountain reedbuck. The primates here include; vervet monkeys and the baboons. You will get chance to view some birds like black eagles, Kori bustard, martial eagle, secretary bird, marabou stork, ostrich, bizarre secretary, crowned crane, lovebirds, and plovers, the European migrants from the month of November to May, these species include; swallows, Yellow Wagtails, White Storks, Augur Buzzards, Fiscal Shrike, Anteater Chat, Verreaux’s Eagle, flamingoes, and Wheatear.

Day 3
Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast and after proceed for a community walks to the Masai people, you will get to enjoy the traditional performances, and you can also have a forest walk as another option. After having your lunch, you will drive to Serengeti National Park for an overnight.

Day 4
Full day game viewing in serengeti national Park

Breakfast early in the morning, after proceed for a game drive to see the nocturnal animals which are returning from hunting and the awakening of lions in the dawn. During this same game drive, you may also spot other animals including; elephants, buffalos, giraffes, eland, impalas, zebras, lions, solitary leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, serval cat, Gaudy agama lizards, black Rhinoceros, waterbuck, baboons, African wild dogs, as Kongonis. Apart from the many animals, there are many bird species that can be spotted, some of the bird species include; acacia woodland secretary bird, martial eagle, Kori bustard, marabou stork, black eagles, crowned crane, bizarre secretary, ostrich, as well as the love birds. After, return to the lodge for lunch and relax for the evening.

Day 5
Transfer to Arusha-Departure

Have breakfast and after drive to Arusha town and have lunch on your arrival. Later, drive to the airport for your departure flight.

Other Safari Important Notes

  1. ELECTRICITY
    All lodges and camps will have electricity although many work off generators with limited times.

The power supply in Tanzania is nominally 240VAC, 50hz. Variable voltage, spikes and sporadic, unexpected, unscheduled power cuts of varying duration can be expected.

  1. INTERNAL FLIGHTS/BAGGAGE
    Please note each passenger is only allowed a total of 15kgs of checked and carry-on luggage combined, and must be in small soft-sided bags. This is strictly enforced by airlines and outside of our control. extra luggage can be left in storage in Arusha (by arrangement prior to travel
  2. YELLOW FEVER
    It may be required to show a Yellow Fever certificate upon entering the country visited. Please check in with your local health expert for advice on Yellow Fever and other inoculations required for this area.
